The short version: we don't collect anything.
What we do not collect
ACE Tailboard is intentionally minimal. Here's the full list of things we don't collect, log, or transmit.
Analytics
No usage statistics, page views, or behavioral metrics are collected.
Tracking
No advertising IDs, cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-app tracking.
Personal data
No name, email, phone number, or other identifying information is requested.
Location
The app does not request your device location and does not track where you are.
Device info
No model, OS version, advertising identifier, or hardware fingerprint is collected.
Crash reports
The app does not ship a third-party crash reporter; only Apple's standard, opt-in crash sharing applies.
How registry data flows
ACE Tailboard fetches public FAA registration data. Lookups travel from your device to a registration data service and back. We do not associate the lookup with any identity.
What you'll see in flight:
- HTTPS connections to the registration data service for live lookups.
- HTTPS connections to the App Store for purchases and receipts.
- HTTPS connections to map tile providers when you open the registration map.
- No additional network calls outside of these flows.
iOS privacy controls
iOS handles standard system privacy. ACE Tailboard does not request additional permissions beyond what is required to fetch and display registration data.

We don't share your data with anyone, because we don't have any data to share. There are no third parties, no marketing partners, no analytics vendors.
Children's privacy
Because we collect nothing, the app is safe for users of any age. The FAA registry data itself is public information.
International users
The app is available worldwide. Because no personal data is collected, there is no transfer of personal data across borders.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of the page will change. We won't quietly start collecting data without telling you.
